FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
Gelegele Girls High School is a branch from Gelegele High School now Gelegele Boys High School. The school is situated at Ndanai / Abosi ward, Sotik Sub – County in Bomet County. The School started on February 2010.
The School enrolled 25 Students in form one in the same year. The Principal was Mrs. Alice Esho upto November 30th 2010. Mrs Edna Sigei came in as the school’s new Principal on 1st December 2010 upto date. Many changes have occurred since inception.
The number of Students enrolled grew from 25 in 2010 upto 160 currently. The School sat for the 1st KCSE in 2013 and the results are as follows:

There were two wooden classrooms when the school started with one common office and two Dorm rooms. More structures were put up. Currently there is a storey building having four classrooms and three more Dorm rooms have been put up.
A small kitchen is being used; however, three energy saver jikos have been fitted. We have a temporary lab with equipment. Tea farm 0.7 acres is there. Two dairy cows were bought in 2015. In 2013, tree plants currently a forest was planted along the roadside.
WAY FORWARD
The School intends to put up more classrooms, Laboratory and more Dormitories to accommodate more Students since the catchment area is large. (Narok, Kisii, Nyamira, Kericho, Nakuru and Bomet Counties.
